Capital Investigations will access and examine all areas of your business deal and provide you with practical recommendations, so you’ll know whether it’s best to proceed. Our investigations include registration verification, business identification, financial research, political and government affiliations and character and reputation information. We can also inform you of the media research associated with the company you’re considering working with, as well as any legal filings connected to the business.  Capital Investigations will provide you with a detailed description of your potential business partner so that you can evaluate the findings and decide if a merger is best for you.

Description of Services

The team at Capital Investigators will research all business affiliations and partnerships with your potential business partner. You’ll learn about parent companies of the business, and whether there are several branches of the business, you’re merging with. We’ll also analyze all press sources that have written anything about the business, whether foreign or domestic. Our team will search websites, newspapers, magazines and television interviews to see whether there is any negative information about the business.

Capital Investigators will search for any criminal records associated with the company or its leaders. You’ll learn about felonies, charges or misdemeanors connected to business leaders, as well as the outcomes of their criminal cases. We’ll search administrative and court filings to see if the company has even filed for bankruptcy and to see whether there are judgments or liens against the business or its properties. We can check to see if there are litigations and UCCs associated with your potential business partner as well.

Through contact with the local business community, Capital Investigators can inform you about the character and reputation of the business and its associates. This will let you know whether your potential business partner is respected by other professionals, and will help you decide if you want to associate with them. We’ll verify the company website and make sure that the information is correct and accurate.

If you want to check and see whether the property where the business is located is owned by the company or want to verify corporate registration, Capital Investigations can assist you with this. We’ll also conduct a check of government affiliations for the company, so you’ll know about the parent companies or shareholders connected with the business. We can find out if there are negative media reports for up to three of the largest shareholders in the company.

Gaining all the information you can about a tentative business merger, you can make an informed decision that will help move your business forward.
